So there are some Content and Quality requirements to qualify.

Article CONTENT QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 250 words.
An ideal article size is 400-750 words - Word count does not include:
Introductory and summery filler such as "here is my article" and "see you at the tables" etc.
Unnecessary duplication of words e.g., very very good or an ace ace.
Filler such as LOL, IHMO etc.
Obvious "padding" we do read them all and it we think you're using lots more words than needed to up word count then we'll refuse it. We don't have time to edit fluff.
Must be an Original Article that YOU wrote.
We have some very good software for checking if an article has been copied in whole or part.
If there is any suspicion whatsoever that an article is not original we will refuse it.
You can of course use existing articles you find online as SOURCE material, edit and adapt (a hell of a lot) but do not copy.
Article subject MUST BE informative and share your unique expertise.
For example -
Poker play Tips and strategies.
Specific techniques and ideas for game situations and styles of play.
Real life specific case-studies that are educational not just like "So I did this and then he did that and the cards came up bad and it was really annoying dude."
Hand and game analysis, maybe things like how to keep good record of games and how to interpret them to improve your play.
Solid fact based opinions and commentary on any of the above to add weight and credibility to your writing.
MUST NOT be a site review or testimonial about NoPayPOKER or any other sites.
If you have such material use it for FreeD blog or Social site posts.
MUST use "proper" English
Good spelling, grammar, punctuation, capitalization and sentence structure.
Do not use online shorthand like "u" when you mean "you", "ppl" for people", LOL, IMHO or anything like that.
True there is debate over what is considered "proper English," we ask that you at least be consistent within your article.
If English is your second language we suggest that you have it proofed by someone who has English as their native tongue before submitting. Sorry but we don't have time to edit and so must refuse poorly written material.
Simple Punctuation and Spelling Rules:
Use a spell checker - The spelling we see from some submissions is awful. Excessive bad spelling will result in refusal
Use capital letters at the start of each sentence and lower capitals for all other letters unless making a very bold point.
Use paragraphs and sentences, we hate large blocks on unedited text and may just refuse it for looking horrible!
One or two spaces after each period, colon, or semi-colon.
Periods should be inside of quotes; When doing "..."
Only 3 dots minimum and maximum.
When using dashes, use two in a row, ex: "--"
There is never a space BEFORE a period or BEFORE a comma.
Quality
Yes this is subjective and we while we don’t want to put anyone off we must keep sight of the objectives of this offer. If we don't feel it is good enough we will say so. Most articles refused for quality can still make good blog and social posts so all is not lost and we'll advise you of this if it is the case
Can you write a series?
Series of articles ARE acceptable so long as it is a genuine series.
An good example would be a series of lessons about some aspect of poker e.g., Part 1 is Bluffing, part 2 is Tournament play etc. Think of chapters in an educational book or website - this would be OK. In contrast splitting up sections within that chapter is not acceptable.
If we get serialised chunks that should clearly be together as a single article then we will refuse but may ask you to resubmit as a single piece.
Obvious Stuff
MUST NOT contain: pornography/adult material, hate or violence-oriented, suggest racial intolerance, advocate against any individual or group, have insulting, obscene, degrading tone, or contain profanity.
MUST NOT contain any content that is a violation of any law, be considered defamatory, libelous, or infringes on the legal rights of others.
