POQERY Q & A - STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE THE SITE
HOW TO ASK A QUESTION
- BEFORE YOU CLICK ASK A QUESTION on the far right click the best category for your question and from the drop down list the best sub category. Then when you click Ask a Question the correct category for it will show up. If asking multiple questions do this every time prior to clicking the Ask A Question tab.
- Ask your question in one simple sentence, if your question needs additional information it may be added in the text box once you choose the correct tag/tags found on the right hand side of lobby. You don't need to repeat the question again in the larger text box.
- DO NOT click on any of the tags, simply type in the best choice/choices with commas between them in the tag line space provided beneath your question. As you type the system will suggest tags that have already been used. If you cannot find a tag that fits your question then type in one you think will fit and it will be added to the list.
- Once you have completed all of the above, determine if you want to use Bonus Chips to highlight your question, if you do not, uncheck the Highlight my question box and click Ask the Question. New members to Poqery only have a limited number of Bonus Chips to start with but there are instructions below that will explain how to earn and transfer them from site to site.
- You will notice there is an option to receive an email when you get answers or comments on any question or answer you may have done. This is a great way to stay on top of your activity at the Poqery site.
- To answer a question click the question, on the page that comes up click Answer beneath the question. Type your answer in the text box provided.
- If wanted there are options to change your font size, make your answer bold, change the color of your text plus much more. To use any of these you must first highlight your text by holding your mouse down and dragging it over the text you want to change, once it is highlighted choose any of the options you want to use. If you hover your mouse over each option it will explain its use. If you do not like what you chose with the text still highlighted click the same choice / choices to undo it.
- When you have completed your answer, determine if you want it highlighted, if not uncheck the Highlight My Answer box and click Add Answer.
- You will notice there is an option to receive an email when you get answers or comments on any question or answer you may have done. This is a great way to stay on top of your activity at the Poqery site.
- To provide our members with the best possible answers to their questions we encourage all of you to add your answer also. You may be able to bring some entirely new information or possibly offer a different perspective with your reply.
- You may comment on any question or answer you see. Click the question then look for Comment beneath it or beneath the answers. Click and comment, its just that easy.
- This is a handy tool if you need clarification on any question.
- There is a Search box provided at the top of the Poqery site page.
- You may also search for questions on any subject by clicking categories / sub categories or click any tags on the far right side for even more specific questions. All will bring up lists of questions on the subject you want.
- To earn Bonus Chips on Poqery do any or all of the following, ask questions, answer questions or like / dislike questions. Be kind with the dislike, most members want a serious answer to the question they ask.
- Provide good, well thought out answers, if your answer is chosen as the best for any Highlighted question it will earn you additional Bonus Chips.
- To transfer Bonus Chips between the sites read the information in this link - Transfer Bonus Chips
- To buy Bonus Chips click the green Buy Bonus Chips button on the far top right at Poqery and follow the instructions.
- Click on any members name under a question or answer to bring up their user page. On this page beneath their name look for Type Registered user - send private message. Click this to bring up the message box.
- When they next log in they will see they have a message at the envelope top right of the log in page.
