Before clicking on Ask a Question , click the catagory that suits it best on the right, from that click the best sub catagory that fits it best, once this is done click Ask a Question and the correct catagory will show up for it.

After asking your question , look at the list of tags on the right side and type in any that seem to fit it with commas between them on the tag line. If there is not one then type in one you think would be a good tag and it will be added to the list. DO NOT click any of the tags or it will take you to a list of all questions under that tag and you will lose your work and have to start over.

Hope this helped.

the tag can be any word related to the question .... just type it in space ... if multiple tags add the coma between them  once done just click ' add question ' ( be sure to uncheck the highlight my Question / answer too unless you want it highlighted) you can also add tags or more tags to a question you have already posted by clicking ' Edit ' on it then adding them in the space ( or edit your question / answer too)
