That is a very good question LB.   It all depends on a lot of factors to me. Like Jimbo says who is on the table is one key as you tend to get to know how they play.  Also postion in the hand and the chips stacks of you and players behind you come into play with me.  If you push you will elminate most marginal hands and keep them from drawing out on you.  On the other hand slow plays are attractive if you want to maximize the pot bu it increases the  chances someone of drawing out on you. Of course if Bams in the hand all bets are off .

Who knows what is best as its all in the hands of the poker Gods!!

LOL

The answer to that question depends on who is at the table

Slow playing and trying to trap players will sometimes work against very loose players or players on tilt but the most effective way to play a monster hand is to try and build the pot by betting and raising. This also protects your hand by not letting players with long shot draws remain in and hit their hand.
