About Yourself:	When choosing paint colors, it's important to consider how the paint will be used, what its use will be, and which type of paint will be applied. Many types of paints can be combined with one another. Some types of paints are waterproof, non-porous, and paintable. Non-porous paints are those that dry quickly because they contain a thin film of oil-based paint that stays on the surface and dries fairly quickly. A paint that is waterproof doesn't need a base coat to work; however, a paint that is paintable must have a base coat and should be stripped before applying the paint.
