There are two parts to this question, first, what is a "Turbo" tournament and secondly what does "Naked" mean?

TURBO Tournaments:

The Turbo Tournaments are simply a shorter and faster paced versions of the regular tournament format.

In a Turbo you are given only 6 minutes between blind increases instead of the regular 12-15 minutes.

Some tournaments may be labeled "Super Turbos" where you are given 4 minutes or less between blind increases. So get aggressive and don't get caught out by the blinds!

NAKED Tournaments

At NoPayPOKER you are regularly allowed to use Bonus Chips to increase your starting stack. In Naked tournaments no Bonus Chips are allowed...you are unable to hide behind your large stack!
