what will give you, when buying gifts? in npp

When you click on a players name on any table at NPP the buy gifts tab directs you to a page where you can buy that player either Bonus Chips or a Premium membership. It is exactly what it says it is, a way to give to others. There is no benefit to the person giving other than that of knowing they did a nice thing.
