Why is it important to play aggressive in poker?

play aggressively when needed. don't let anyone can read ur cards. somehow u know what to do when its the right time. fooling ev1 n hit the goal! (like soccer).

Agressive style play provides you with more ways to win. It makes it more difficult for players to read your hands, can make a better hand fold plus keep a weaker one from calling and possibly hitting,

I think you need to pick your spots with agressive play. By knowing the players on your table you can be aggresive with the ones that play tight and less likely to call your raise and not so aggresive on the ones that are calling stations.  If a guy like Bam is there forget he will dominate the aggressive play so no need to be aggresive. Just sit back and shake your head till you hit.
